Batteries with Technology AGM / VRLA

SYSCOM has released its recommendations for batteries in electronic equipment, especially those back-ups, ceasing to be considered an unimportant accessory to become frontline actors in availability to 100% in systems electronic security.

You should demand the best quality in their batteries since, in normal operation, they will be exposed on one side to the action of the local physical environment (temperature and humidity, mainly); on the other, you may be embedded in a non-friendly environment. These are some of the reasons that the batteries must be reliable in terms of their operation, and maintenance requirements should be minimal and simple.

SYSCOM strongly recommends using AGM / VRLA brand EPCOM POWER LINE batteries with a variety of them, from 1.2 Ah to 110 Ah at 12 Vdc.

Additional Notes and Recommendations

• All components and accessories are sold separately.
• Vehicle access devices require installation by certified personnel.
• The 5-year warranty applies to models 1601-080.
• The warranty specifically covers damage and/or malfunction resulting from a manufacturing defect in the product.
• Any damage caused by improper operation or installation invalidates the product warranty policy.
• Compliance with the UL325 standard requires the use of additional safety devices. For more information, you can consult the following link UL 325, Safety Standard.
• In order to ensure better protection against electric shock, it is necessary to connect an Earth line to the designated terminals on the vehicle barrier and add a line protection device against electric shock.

NOTE: Consider using XB-POST armrests for arms of 4 meters or more to prevent premature mechanism damage.

ADDITIONAL NOTES

The barrier is prepared to work with an arm with a distance of 5 to 6 meters. Having an arm with a different distance requires changing springs.

To know what type of spring should be used, we can refer to the following TABLE

Barrier only compatible with XB-TEL-ARMB1 arm.

In a correct adjustment of the opening and closing limits, our mechanism should not reach the physical limits.

If your mechanism is reaching the physical limits, please review the following VIDEO.
